Good Relations and Shared Space
Forward South Partnership’s Connecting Communities project funded by The Executive Office’s Urban Village Initiative aims to promote good relations and to find innovative ways of building on those relationships.
This project in partnership with Urban Village covers the three core areas of Markets, Donegall Pass and Sandy Row in South Belfast.
Good relation is essentially about development of a Shared Space and Shared Space is firstly about access to the city and all the facilities it offers. FSP encourages social innovation in the development of new and evidence-based solutions to problems, the gathering of this evidence is captures by walking the streets and talking to the marginalized.
As an organization we challenge the processes and work to promote the principles of advocacy in order change the structures, formal and informal, which create barriers to good relations.
