Social Supermarket

South Belfast Social Supermarket’s aim is to support the transition out of food poverty by taking a longer-term approach than food banks which address immediate need.

Social supermarkets provide food, cleaning products and toiletries at discounted prices. Social supermarkets are located in the buildings of community organisations across Belfast.

We run an appointment-based system based on certain criteria and you can purchase a shop for £10 and £5. £10 will get you 18 items and £5 will get you 9 items.

We also provide access to wraparound services relating to health and wellbeing, signposting other critical services and an empathetic approach to cost of living issues.
